Fair House Villas & Spa Samui is Eco-Friendly and will lead sustainability initiatives in 2024. We have initiated several green initiatives to promote nature conservation and reduce our environmental impact through sustainability-focused activities and community and guest engagement.
Coral Reef Plantation
The coral reef planting project is owned by Fair House Villas & Spa Samui. We aim to restore and preserve coral reefs that are home to many marine species. The beachfront of Fair House Villas & Spa has a coral conservation project in collaboration with Walailak University (Thailand). We collect dying corals from surrounding reefs and replant them in our plantations. Planting coral reef plants not only increases biodiversity in Samui’s seas but also helps prevent coastal erosion and creates new snorkeling areas for guests.
Organic Garden
We maintain a 2.5-acre organic garden to promote the use of fresh organic ingredients. Fair House Villas & Spa Samui has established an organic garden where vegetables and herbs are grown on the property. Organic gardens not only provide a safe and healthy source of food for guests but also serve as an example of sustainable use of natural resources and reduced use of chemicals in the growing process. We garden organically to perfectly align with our values of environmental stewardship and guest well-being by growing produce without the use of pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. We guarantee that everyone will enjoy the freshest vegetables, fruits, and herbs. All of this is nutritious and chemical-free.
Environmentally Friendly Activities
- Snorkeling and kayaking
Snorkeling and kayaking activities allow guests to experience the beauty of Samui’s sea and coral reefs up close without having any impact on the environment. The use of reef-friendly snorkeling equipment and environmental training for guests are part of the activity.
- Island tours and cruises.
Fair House Villas & Spa Samui organizes island tours and cruises to allow guests to experience the beauty of Koh Samui and nearby islands such as Koh Phangan and Koh Tao. These cruises and island tours emphasize sustainable energy use and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
- Ride an elephant and explore the jungle.
Elephant riding and jungle trekking activities are organized by Fair House Villas & Spa Samui. We focus on educating and raising awareness about environmental conservation and responsible wildlife care. Guests can learn and understand the importance of preserving nature and the environment.
